He made the choice to work with concrete and construction already in childhood, as he started helping his old man Magnus Thompson with everything from moulding, installing rebar and pouring concrete to construction. To this day, they can be found working together. When Arvid is not making things out of concrete he likes to spray artificial snow on the local ski hill and cross country tracks. The ocean and the outdoors are also close to his heart.
