We used an innovative approach to develop durable shell garments for a Vattenfall services subsidiary. Instead of just relying on in-house product development we involved the users in the process. By collaborating with the users, Fristads could optimise the garments for their specific needs and increase the durability. The new garments were delivered in August 2021 and received positive response from Vattenfall’s services employees. The collaboration with Vattenfall services has been ongoing since 2017 and has resulted in 26 different models.
This collaboration showcases how we tapped into our customers’ needs to develop even more durable workwear. We are proud of our partnership with Vattenfall services and look forward to keep developing innovative and durable workwear for their employees.

Together with Scania we have created an environmentally declared collection of workwear that significantly reduces their impact on the environment. The agreement is a big leap forward in our work to reduce the environmental impact from workwear.
We have developed 23 environmentally declared garments that will save 676 tonnes carbon dioxide equivalents and 4 380 778 m3 water equivalents compared with conventionally produced clothes. Additionally, the garments will be delivered with an Environmental Product Declaration that gives our customers the ability to make good choices and helps companies achieve their sustainability goals. We are proud to be in a leading position when it comes to environmentally declared garments and continue to drive innovation in this area.
