Base layers and long johns

Working outside in cold weather is breeze when you use Fristads’ base layers and long johns as the foundation of your layering system. The primary purpose of a base layer, or thermal underwear set, is to wick moisture away from the skin and keep you dry and comfortable regardless of the weather. Our warmest Polartec® and merino wool base layers protect you from getting chilled down during the harshest winter days, whereas a lightweight and quick-drying polyester base layer may suffice for milder days. Moreover, our range includes flame protected men’s base layers and women’s long johns that can be combined with other garments in our flame collection to protect you from the inside and out. For workplaces with strict hygiene requirements and other controlled environments we also offer cleanroom certified base layers in unsiex sizes. We sell thermal underwear tops and long johns separately, as well as whole sets of men’s and women’s base layers.
